Simon Goldberg is a PhD candidate at Clark University's Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, where he holds the Shirley and Ralph Rose Fellowship. His dissertation explores the culture of knowledge-production in interwar Kaunas (Kovno), Lithuania and its fate under German occupation. Prior to his doctoral studies, Simon served as Head of Jewish Studies at Elsa International High School in Hong Kong, where he taught Jewish history and philosophy. He earned a BA in History at Yeshiva University and an MA in Holocaust Studies at the University of Haifa. Simon is currently the recipient of a Wexner Graduate Fellowship in Jewish Studies.
