Invitation | Survey of the European Network of Sites Where the Holocaust Happened

Wednesday, March 26th, 2025

We invite you to contribute to an important initiative shaping the future of Holocaust remembrance in Europe. This survey is part of the European Commission’s project, “European Network of Sites Where the Holocaust Happened”, implemented under the European Strategy on Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life.

The goal of the survey is to map and document Holocaust-related projects and sites across Europe—both well-established institutions and lesser-known, grassroots initiatives. By sharing your experiences, challenges, and flagship initiatives, you will help identify good practices, foster collaboration, and strengthen Holocaust education and remembrance efforts.

Your insights will directly inform a publicly accessible online repository and a comprehensive analytical report, designed to support knowledge-sharing and capacity-building among stakeholders. This research will also include interviews with key actors, providing further opportunities for engagement and validation of findings.

We would greatly appreciate 15 minutes of your time to complete the survey and share details about your work. Your contribution is invaluable in preserving memory, enhancing understanding, and ensuring that the lessons of history continue to resonate.

Join us in this effort—your voice matters!
