Zeljka Oparnica is a Jewish history fellow at the Institute of Historical Research, University of London. She received her doctoral degree from Birkbeck, University of London. Her thesis historicized Sephardi politics between 1900 and 1940.
In her postdoctoral research she focuses on political minorities, different groups of political organizations including Jews, alongside the Adriatic coast between Trieste and Dubrovnik between 1918 and 1943. In the coming academic year, 2023-2024, she will be a research fellow at the British School at Rome.
