Elizabeth Emmerson
Elizabeth Emmerson is the Chief Archivist for the United Nations Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (Mechanism). She was previously the Head of the Archives and Records Unit in the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and before joining the United Nations she worked in the public, private and not-for profit sectors in the United Kingdom, the United States and several European countries. A professional archivist and records manager with thirty years’ experience as a practitioner, consultant and educator, she is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and University College London.
