Dapim - Studies on the Shoah, the journal of the University of Haifa and the Ghetto Fighters House Museum in Israel, is now being published by Routledge, as part of the Taylor and Francis Group.

The Journal, supported by the David and Fela Shapell Family Foundation, is a peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to the inter-disciplinary study of the Holocaust, the Second World War, and anti-Semitism and will be produced in both English and Hebrew.

The editors invite the submission of original articles in all areas of Holocaust Studies. Articles may cover the era of the Holocaust broadly from the pre-war history to current events.

Paper proposals might address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Nazi policies against the Jews and other racial and genocidal programs
  • Jewish responses to Nazism (in and outside of Europe)
  • Anti-Semitism and racism
  • Nazi propaganda
  • Ghettos and camps
  • European collaboration
  • War crimes trials
  • Survivor testimony
  • Memorialization and museology

All approaches and methodologies are welcome.

Any submissions should be sent by email to Ms. Maayan Armelin at the editorial office.

For any other questions regarding the journal, contact Dr Yael Granot-Bein.
