RESEARCH WORKSHOP: Exploring the UN War Crimes Commission (UNWCC) archive at the Wiener Library

The Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy (CISD), SOAS University of London and The Wiener Library for the Study of the Holocaust & Genocide are pleased to invite applications for a half-day research workshop, Exploring the UN War Crimes Commission (UNWCC) archive at the Wiener Library.

This half-day workshop is designed to introduce scholars, students and researchers to the UN War Crimes Commission digital archive, recently acquired and made accessible by the Library. This massive archive contains a wide variety of documentation relating to the handling of war crimes by the Allied powers between 1943 and 1949, including: lists of alleged war criminals, files of charges brought against them, minutes of meetings, reports, correspondence, trial transcripts and other related materials.
