International Conference on Holocaust Education at Yad Vashem

Jerusalem, 7-10 July

Over 450 educators from 50 countries will attend the 9th International Conference on Holocaust Education at Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies. Yad Vashem is a partner in EHRI.

The conference is split into three sections: the purpose of Holocaust documentation on the part of the first and second generations; how the events of the Shoah continue to find significance in the lives of those born afterwards; and the future of Holocaust education and remembrance among the youth of today – and tomorrow.

The international conference will bring together Holocaust survivors, scholars, educators and artists from four generations. They will engage in an educational, intergenerational and multicultural dialogue on how to preserve the legacy and meet with the challenges of Holocaust education in the years to come.

For more info, updates and the programme, please visit the Yad Vashem website.
