Dr. Diana Dumitru, Associate Professor, Dept. of History and Social Sciences at Ion Creanga State University, Chisinau (MD)
Diana Dumitru is Associate Professor of History at Ion Creangă State University of Moldova. Her fields of expertise include the Holocaust in Eastern Europe, nationalism, and the politics of history. Dr. Dumitru has held fellowships, including Fulbright Visiting Scholarship for research at Georgetown University, Gerda Henkel Stiftung fellowship, and the Rosenzweig Family Fellowship for research at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. She has authored over forty articles and two books. Her second book, The State, Antisemitism and Collaboration in the Holocaust: The Borderlands of Romania and the Soviet Union, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2016. In 2019, the Romanian-language translation of this book was published by Polirom.

Dr. Edyta Gawron, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Jewish Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (PL)
Edyta Gawron is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Jewish Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and the head of the new Centre for the Study of the History and Culture of Krakow Jews (Jagiellonian University). She received both MA and PhD from the Jagiellonian University, Institute of History. Dr. Gawron is the alumna of the Postdoctoral Research Scholarship at International Institute for Holocaust Research, Yad Vashem (2006/2007) and the International Visitor Leadership Program by US Department of State (WWII History and City Museums. A Project for Poland; 2008). As a specialist in the 20th century history of Polish Jews, Holocaust studies and post-Holocaust Jewish Diaspora she cooperates with various academic institutions and museums in Poland and abroad. Michael Grunberger, PhD, Retired, former Director of the National Institute for Holocaust Documentation of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (US)
Michael Grunberger retired from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2019, after more than a decade directing its Office of Collections. As Director of Collections, he led the Museum’s “Rescue the Evidence” initiative, which included acquiring, making available, and preserving the historical record of the Holocaust, as well as oversight of its digital collections program. Dr. Grunberger has been involved with EHRI in various capacities since joining the Advisory Board in 2011.
Prof. Dr. Franciska de Jong, Utrecht University (NL), Senior Advisor CLARIN
As of September 2015 Franciska de Jong is full professor of e-Research for the Humanties. She is also a senior advisor at CLARIN. CLARIN (Common LAnguage Resources and Technology INfrastructure) has the objective is to provide scholars in the humanities and social sciences seamless access to digital language data and processing tools all across Europe. Dr. Fred van Kan, Retired, Managing Director Gelders Archief (NL)
Dr. Fred van Kan (The Hague, The Netherlands, 1957) studied history at Leiden University and archivistics at the Dutch Archives School. He obtained his Ph.D. on a study of the elite of Leiden in the Middle Ages (1988). Since 1991 he worked in the archival sector, mosty recently as managing director of the Gelders Archief in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Fred van Kan was president of the KVAN, the Royal Dutch Association of Archivists (2006-2014), of ICA SPA, the Section of Professional Associations of the International Council on Archives (2012-2016), of FIDA, the Fund for the International Development of Archives (2016-2021) and member of the Advisory Board for the Construction of a new building for the Cologne City Archives, Germany (2015-2023).

Prof. Dr. habil. Andrea Peto DSc, Central European University (AT/HU)
Andrea Pető is Professor in the Department of Gender Studies at Central European University, Budapest, Hungary and a Doctor of Science of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. She has written six monographs, edited thirty-one volumes and her works on gender, politics, Holocaust and war have been translated into 23 languages. She edited three pioneering books in the field of Jewish Studies with Louise Hecht, Karoline Krauska Women and Holocaust: New Perspectives and Challenges. IBL, Warsawa, 2015., and with Szapor, Judith, Hametz, Maura, Calloni, Marina, Jewish Intellectual Women in Central Europe 1860-2000. The Edwin Mellen Press, 2012., with Helga Thorson The Future of Holocaust Memorialisation. Confronting Racism, Anti-Semitism, and Homophobia Through Memory Work. Tom Lantos Institute, Budapest, 2015. In 2018 she was awarded the 2018 All European Academies (ALLEA) Madame de Staël Prize for Cultural Values.
Prof. Dr. Dieter Pohl, Alpen-Adria-Unversität Klagenfurt, Institut für Geschichte (AT)
Dieter Pohl, Professor for Contemporary History at the University of Klagenfurt/Austria. He studied at Munich University and was a staff researcher at the Institute for Contemporary History in Berlin and Munich until 2010. His fields of research are Nazi history with emphasis on mass crimes and occupation in Eastern Europe, Holocaust history, history of the Soviet Union, of 20th century Poland and Ukraine, global history of the Second World War. He published widely, especially on Holocaust history, and serves as a co-editor of the 16 volume document series Verfolgung und Ermordung der europäischen Juden. Until 2019, he served as member of the EHRI Executive Board.
Robert-Jan Smits, President of Eindhoven University of Technology (NL)

Prof. Dr. Jane Winters, Professor of Digital Humanities at the School of Advanced Study, University of London (UK)
Jane Winters is Professor of Digital Humanities at the School of Advanced Study, University of London. Her current and past research projects include the Marie Curie Innovative Training Network CLEOPATRA, Digging into Linked Parliamentary Data, Big UK Domain Data for the Arts and Humanities, Traces through Time: Prosopography in Practice across Big Data, and the Thesaurus of British and Irish History as SKOS. Her research interests include digital history, born digital archives (the archived web) and open access publishing. Jane is a Fellow and Councillor of the Royal Historical Society.
