EHRI partner Mémorial de la Shoah in France and the Ben-Zvi Institute, Israel, are organizing an international conference commemorating the 70 years since Operation Torch and the great battle at El Alamein.

EHRI would like to invite you to an international workshop on Early Attempts at the Historical Documentation of the Holocaust, to be held at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Budapest, Hungary on November 27-28, 2012. The overall objective of the EHRI experts' workshops is to generate a creative exchange of knowledge and views between experts in various methodological subfields of Holocaust research and documentation.

Last January over sixty people working for EHRI gathered in Israel for a series of meetings to discuss our initial results. EHRI partner Yad Vashem organized the event, and was host to the 19 partner organisations involved.

Scottish Holocaust Project

Gathering the Voices is a good example of the many projects, big and small, and in various countries, that still contribute to our knowledge of the Holocaust and its impact. In the end EHRI hopes to connect all this material and to create the best environment for Holocaust research.
